easily prevented. I would like to take a moment to remember and mourn
for the ones who have unnecessarily passed before their time by fault
of their humans either through disease, neglect, or lack of
knowledge.
And remind everyone that their quarantine, environment, health care,
nutrition, and well being are our responsibility. It is our
responsibility to learn about their needs and to learn from the
mistakes that we, and others, have made. Accidents do happen, but it
is up to us to do our best to protect the rats in our care.
They are counting on us. So lets be sure not to let them down. They
deserve the best we have to give. If we are not willing to give it to
them then they deserve to be with someone else who can. Bella
